We originally met with Felicia Joel Pwol, the President of Nurture the Children (NTC), as she needed funding to run a project and to improve the charity’s branding and website.
NTC rely heavily on volunteers and needed design work to gain support. The problem was that they did not have the funds for these professional services.
We then created a project that fulfilled NTC’s objectives. We applied for £10,000, incorporating NTC’s feedback on the application.
The project was funded 10 weeks after applying (usually closer to 6).
We included our design services in the project’s budget.
Firstly, we created an eye-catching new NTC logo and brand that included high quality images to represent their education and feeding projects in Nigeria.
We designed a new mobile-friendly website, with easy navigation, and a simplified donation process. The site is easy to update with news and fresh content, and is optimised for ranking well on Google.
NTC is now running a project and Felicia is able to pay herself a wage for delivering it.
The charity has enjoyed an increase in visitors to their website and more volunteers as a result. They have also purchased equipment for the project, which enables them to be more effective as a charity.
They are now more likely to gain support thanks to their professional image and are running a project they are passionate about.
